Waist of Money

I ordered my Zoe Ayla Electric Makeup Brush Cleaner from the add on market from allture (formerly causebox) and I used it to wash my makeup brushes as the instructions said once a week for 3 weeks. I was always surprised how the water after washing did not get very dirty with the makeup that would have been built up in the brush. I had noticed every brush I pulled out “clean” only felt damp but thought since you let it spin out of the water it had dried. Today I noticed one brush that was not coming out clean and still had visible makeup on it. I tried adding more shampoo and water and it still came out dirty. So, I washed it by hand. I then to test my suspicions washed a “clean” from the electric cleaner, brush by had and found plenty of product still in it. I now believe this product does not properly clean the makeup from the brushed and only dampens the brushes leaving plenty of bacteria to build up. Thanks for the brake out! I had really hoped this product would cut down on cleaning time and water waisted in the process but now just have electronic wait.
